More than 5,000 dead in Libya floods, but far higher toll feared

The flooding comes days after a drastic earthquake last week in Morocco, another North African country, which killed 2,800 people.  Mediterranean storm Daniel caused devastating floods in Libya that broke dams and swept away entire neighborhoods in multiple coastal towns.
